The parallel sessions of the conference included general papers (presentation plus questions), research discussion papers (short introduction, emphasis on discussion) and workshops (activity-based sessions, with emphasis on high levels of participation). Building on EE2010, on the second day of the conference we attracted significant student attendance with a student poster session, some student input to papers, and a panel discussion with the title How much is an engineering degree worth?
